Tridecanedioic Acid application

Tridecanedioic Acid is a valuable precursor for macrocyclic flavors and fragrances, like musk-T. Moreover, it serves as an important component in high end plastics and fibers, as well as in functional fluids.

Tridecanedioic acid also used for the following items:
Plastic:
(1) can be used as a component for producing a copolymerized polyamide which is excellent in transparency, heat resistance and mechanical properties;
(2) as a raw material for adjusting the image recording, heat sensing plate;
(3) can be used for heat resistance, good molding processability of the raw material of polyether amide resin;
(4) as a raw material for a photosensitive polyamide resin;
Spices: for the synthesis of ethylene terephthalate esters.
Recording materials:
(1) improving the durability of a magnetic metal thin film for a magnetic recording material;
(2) as a lubricant for metalworking;
(3) A mixed aqueous solution of the same derivative with pyrazole is a metal treatment agent having a good rust-preventive effect.
