How to calm down the panic of Invista to shut down its dicarboxylic acid plant in Texas?

In the month, Invista shut down its Dodecanedioic acid (DDDA) plant in Texas as no more competitive. Invista said they already invested more than $100 m at the plant to install AND technology--- adiponitrile. This decision will cut at least 75 employees.
Although Invista made the decision was driven by lower adipic acid demand and increased supply in the global adipic acid market. And the adipic acid is mainly as a key ingredient for materials such as nylon 6, 6 polymer, nylon 6, 6 fiber and Metal working fluids. The customers in MWF also feel some panic of DDDA and Corfree M1 shortage in coming future.
Different customers have different ways to face it. Some of them stock corfree M1/DDDA for transition. Other of them are not only stock raw materials, but also developing new formulas with new raw material--tribasic acid (like: TAT730, cas no. 80584-91-4) to increasing their anti-risk ability.
DDDA or Corfree M1 as a corrosion inhibitor absolutely can be replaced by TAT730 (equivalent Irgacor L 190). But the formulation needs to adjust with DEA, MEA or other additives.
Currently, we offer four types of long chain dibasic acids:

• DC11 (Undecanedioic Acid, UDDA)
• DC12 (Dodecanedioic Acid, DDDA)
• DC13 (Brassylic Acid, Tridecanedioic Acid)
• DC14 (Tetradecanedioic Acid)
• Mixture of Dibasic Acids (MA1 & MA2)
• DC10 (Decanedioic Acid, Sebacic Acid)
